How long have you been in business?
20 years in Connecticut where I owned and operated a full service locksmith shop and mobile service and 21 years in Arizona as a residential and commercial locksmith and designer hardware consultant for business and residential applications.
What is your primary product or service?
Residential and Commercial mobile services selling, installing and servicing all major architectural hardware brands as well as safes.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a manager for Hoffritz Cutlery when I was recruited by my brother-in-law in 1974 to learn and run his mobile locksmith service. I continued in the business and eventually begin my own business. I entered AHC hardware design training in the 80's along with orthographic studies at Norwalk Community College where I began drawing blueprints and later in the 90's I completed computer design and repair programs at Lamson Jr. College graduating as a network technician. These areas have been helpful in progressing into the future of security hardware applications and architectural design in the locksmith trade. It has been 37 years since I began locksmithing as an owner/operator and I still believe we haven't seen anything yet because we are in an electronic revolution.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Top quality products from the best manufacturers such as Medeco amd Schlage. Great service and all work done by the owner with 40 years experience. Service you can depend on, knowledge you can count on and full manufacturers warranty's you can bet on.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I only need one location to give the best service to my customers.
