How long have you been in business?
The Arizona Region split away from the Sun Country Region in 1979. We have been in business for 25 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We are the Region office for USA Volleyball in Arizona. We register members with USA Volleyball, conduct volleyball tournaments for junior girls, junior boys, adult men and women and sand volleyball, offer volleyball coach's education and volleyball official's training and work opportunities.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
All of us that work at the Region office or are on the Board of Directors were players or officials at one time or another.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are not a volleyball club. We are the Region office for USA Volleyball in Arizona.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one Region Office. We use multiple sites around the state to host our volleyball tournaments.
Provide detailed directions to your location
The Region Office is located on the 2nd floor of the Court One Athletics building. We are one block west of Kyrene Rd and one block south of Warner Rd in Tempe.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check or credit cards. We accept all 4 types of credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We service the state of Arizona and some surrounding cities (some Las Vegas club teams register and play with the Arizona Region).
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The Arizona Region is a 501 c 3 registered non profit corporation with the IRS. There is a Board of Directors that oversee the operations. We have a Region office with 3 employees that run the day to day operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office hours are 9 am - 5 pm Mon - Friday, September thru May. In the summer months we work Monday - Thursday from 9 am - 5 pm.
